Splicing Kato double track truss bridge

Has anyone tried cutting down a Kato double track bridge to 186mm and splicing it to a standard 248mm Kato double track bridge. It looks like the Warren truss girders would line up correctly.

There are 5 triangles, the 186 is 3/4 of 248, so it wont line up directly.

Good point. I had my mind fixated on the top four squares for some reason. Thanks for bringing me back to reality.

Even the five triangle bases don't exactly match the full length of the bridge. I think they're short by about the size of the bridge supports. In short, it's going to be a mess.
