E257 released from Nagano Works in new livery

You Tube members have uploaded view of E257 no M 112 being shunted into formation at Nagano Works.It is finished in what appears to be a silver colour with a black band along the windows.

The front is now black with two torquoise bands,one below the windscreen and the second lower down at floor level.

I really liked the "Mountain" livery with it's coloured bands.

That blue looks like the blue in the concept art for the E261 probably replacing  251s, and E257 are slated to replace 185s on the Odoriko, so they may share a color.

I think those will stay, the E257s were used for Azusa/Kaiji (white with 5 color squares) and Boso (white, yellow, blue).  The Azusa/Kaiji are being displaced by E353s.

 

Maybe the liner services too? Not sure.  But there are also liner services on Tokaido that the same 185s are used that the E257s are replacing, just not sure if they will all be replaced, but 185s are getting old, so are the the 215s.

Looks nice although I would like to see something truer to the 'new Nagano' colors, one of the finest liveries to ever grace a train.  I think it could work very well on the E257 body.
