Sheffie
I think my coaches are about at their limit, going around a 249mm radius turn. I’m pretty sure that the locomotive was listed as having a 216mm limit, so I guess I was lucky? Link to comment
chadbag
No derailments? Sounds good to me 🙂 Link to comment
bill937ca
Looks like close coupling which requires more generous radius curves. That's why on my R243 and R280 layout I stick exclusively to Rapido couplers. You can either go up in radius or go to Rapido couplers. Many Kato passenger cars, steam locomotives and freight cars come equipped with Rapidos. I've also got more Peco freight wagons with Rapidos on order. katoftw
Pretty sure both Tomix and Kato recommend 280/282 as the minimum with close couplers. So if you can go smaller. Bonus. Link to comment
Welshbloke
I have a feeling Kato say 249mm is the tightest radius their 20m/21m stock can handle. Certainly it's the tightest radius of viaduct track they offer, which would fit. Fairly certain I've run stock equipped with their Shibata couplers through those with no trouble. 1 Link to comment
