ToniBabelony
Densha de GO! Final is maybe the best in the whole series. At least, in my opinion. The Chūō line is very well conducted and one of my favourites to drive on. The hardest to drive is of course the 115 Series, which leaves almost no room for error. Next to the Chūō line, the Ōsaka Kanjō line is also one of my favourites, especially the 103 and 223 Series are awesome to run. The 103 because it's old and has a nice sound, and the 223 because of its special music horn. Link to comment
JR 500系
Densha de go, Final! Guilty of not spending time on my layout but driving trains instead... With driving the Yamanote so often as i'm trying to un-lock the 2 '?' trains on the Yamanote line, i'm getting good at this! Last night saw another 00:00 at 0cm again, this time on the 205 series! I'm getting so used to the Yamanote line, i can even remember all the stations on the line now! This video helps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xL-QKMvmLI Toni, are you playing this or have played this game too? I'm curious to know the '?' trains on the lines... You mentioned 115 Series, so i guess that is one of the '?' train and it has to be 5* to be so tough then... 1 Link to comment

Yes, the 115 is the final train that can be obtained on the Chūō line and is very hard to drive... Link to comment
JR 500系
Thanks Toni! I have not unlocked any secret trains yet, except for the 103 series that is on the Yamanote... Quite identical to driving the 103 on the Osaka loop, except this time is green and on the Yamanote... The night before, the game tricked me while i was driving the 201 on the Tokaido from Kyoto to Kobe: How can you get that point, whereby the speed required is 90km/h while the yellow signal (which means 65km/h) is on? Spooky... Anyway, no point risking ending ALL your combo links to try and get that single point... I love this game! I excel at the conductor game on the Yamanote after listening to the song 100x... Well, I've not played the game for a long time now, but I'd suggest lowering your speed in advance of this signal to get a green signal so that you may travel at 90kph and don't have to drop to 65kph. If you can, clear the previous parts at a much lower speed than advised (I think it's 110kph or so). The yellow/greem signal only indicates an occupied block in three blocks front of you, so don't get too close to the previous train on the line by lowering your speed in advance. Link to comment
JR 500系
Thanks Toni! That is quite some sound advice~ I always try to run before time so that i have more time to slowly adjust my speed and aim for the 0cm in stations. It tends to be more difficult when you are driving rapid services whereby you have to pass the station at +-5 seconds to get the point. Regardless of following strictly the speed that the game wants you to travel on, it is more often than not earlier than the scheduled time when passing. I was driving the E253 NEX and often got ahead of time, although the game wants me to maintain speed at 90km/h which i did. I then adjusted myself based on judgement by slowly down the train to about 70km/h by applying about 3 brakes around 500m to the next station, watch the time carefully, and brake more or accelerate to required to aim for the +-5seconds. Quite a feat~ However, i could do better on other rapids such as the E351 Super Azusa, the Kiha-181 Hamakaze and the 651 Thunderbird though... Link to comment
JR 500系
Am i the only one still playing this 10 year old game? Haha ~ Share your 0cm achivements here! I find getting 0cm much much more difficult than getting 00:00... Best is of course you can get both 0cm and 00:00! Link to comment
miyakoji
The edition for DS was good, I thought. It made use of the two screens and the lower screen's touch capability. It would be awesome on 3DS. Link to comment
