EdF
Are there really no other option in kato double track viaduct other than the r381/r414? Link to comment
katoftw
There are other smaller radi options. Link to comment

gavino200
The selection of Kato double viaduct track is extremely limited. I too was shocked by how little is available. Next time I build a layout I'll be looking for alternatives. Link to comment
Kiha66
Not premade in double track, although two single track curves can be used in parallel in different radii just fine. Link to comment
EdF
I was going to ask if I could bash 2 singles, but I saw a thread that mentions the singles have less clearance. I would roll my own, but then mounting to piers is another challenge. Hrmmm.... Link to comment
katoftw
Yeah all viaducts have less clearance. Normal accros all radi and brands. To do with the walls and car overhang in corners. My understanding is C317 and R315 curves dont like shinkansens due to length of cars. Other than that. You should not have issues. Edited January 30, 2019 by katoftw Link to comment
JR 500系
Yeah Tomix offers a much wider range of curves, and also their Canted track system allows for multiple radii with the easy combination of their curves, although the curves and curve approaches aint so easy to understand but... Kato seems to be a little less flexible in terms of curves especially viaduct ones... Link to comment
