This is a real problem with Hobby Search and its stocking quantities and ordering rules. I am often frustrated by it, and it makes me very hesitant to reserve forthcoming items, given today's very high minimum shipping costs.

I was really looking forward to getting a E323 series set but last night I was on YouTube and saw the E231 Chūō–Sōbu Line. This is so cool looking plus I'd like to have a old school E231 to go with my modern version.

OK, got the in-stock notification this morning for the Kiha and immediately placed my order.  Hopefully, train and power unit will both actually be available when they process it and somebody ahed of me in the processing queue doesn't send me back to playing in-stock:out-stock ping-pong.
