paolo
In the past couple of months, I've been lucky enough to go to Japan quite a few times, mostly in Tokyo and Osaka. One of the highlights of all these trips were of course the trains. I've put together a few videos of everything that I saw, I hope you find them interesting 😉  Tokyo Station   Osaka region   Nippori Station in Tokyo (from the famous Shimogoinden bridge)  Edited November 25, 2018 by paolo 3 Link to comment
katoftw
The Osaka region one was interesting. 1 Link to comment
paolo
Thanks katoftw, I loved the Koya line to Koyasan, the scenery is lovely, especially those red bridges and all those trees around the tracks Link to comment
chadbag
I beieve the second Osaka region train is a later JR Series 225.   The 323 is only on the Osaka Loop Line (and orange -- this one is brown, which is what many of the JR West trains in the area sport) that I can see, and comparing front end pictures of both, the lower "air dam" front end piece has a larger cut out, like the 225 (where the coupler goes).  The 323 pics I have seen show a smaller, less tall cut-out in the front air dam where the front coupler is.  Compare:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/323_series and the 225-5100 pic on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/225_series Edited November 26, 2018 by chadbag 1 Link to comment
paolo
Thank you chadbag, you're absolutely right! Theye are so similar, I got them confused. I've put a note in the video, thanks again! 1 Link to comment
chadbag
They are similar. Â 227 as well. Â I had to study images closely to pick up the differences (as a layman). Link to comment
