I've been very tempted by the Kumoru they offer (the conversion of an old  EMU power car into a transporter for things like wheelsets) but not sure how well they run? They have a single power bogie with a tiny low voltage motor on top. It also looks as though fitting anything other than the supplied Rapidos would be complicated, as they don't use a standard mounting.

Tomytec also does a KuMoRu, with more standard fittings, at a far less terrifying price.

Yep, theirs is a more recent version though. Not so sure on price, by the time you add motor and trailer wheels and pantographs to the Tomytec they'll be pretty close.

Wow, those both look really nice. I wanted some SL support infrastructure to accompany my engine shed, but I didn’t like Kato’s offering, which featured an orange water tower. 

Expensive, but nice

World Kougei has done various structures over the years, but it's not their main focus. They've also done a really nice turntable for example, and several towers and cranes etc.
