martin67
Hi all, travelling is good fun and you see a lot. 2011 I took a brief stop in Morocco during a ship cruise and had the chance to see trains and even take ride from Casablanca to Fez and back. Here are some pictures. Casablanca Station 8am, Alstom Prima ONCF Class E 1400 ONCF Logo Shunting passenger coaches, exCIWL MU sleeper Platform and station scenes Hitachi electric ONCF class E 1100 Suburban service Shunter having a rest My train for Fez just arrives Very old railway stock on a siding Nice African station on the way Three axle hoppers Station of Fez in northern Morocco British made Brush Traction ONCF shunter Class DM 600 Alsthom E 1300 "nez-cassez" Eurofima A9 (exSNCF Corail) Class DF 119 (exSNCF CC72027) still wearing FRET colours Polish made "Tonka" class DG 200 And my farewell picture.... The ONCF is a very modern railway company in northern Africa. The trains are clean, fast and comfortable, even if they use lots of french 2nd hand rolling stock (or maybe because of that?).
