nah00
I'm sure I'm not the only person to have issues with this but I've never felt okay with just sticking the Kato stickers on cars. Generally I used a little dab of CA (tried model cement but it starts eating the paint) but CA can be nasty to paint too and especially with car numbers and signs by doors it's hard to get a small enough drop so none leaks out and you get any on the outside of the sticker itself it starts to eat away at it pretty fast. I've thought of just using regular white white glue but wondered if any else had any other suggestions. I can see white glue working fine for destination boards but the numbers by the car doors might be an issue, I worry about wear and tear coming in and out of boxes. I never thought I would but I'm starting to appreciate the Tomix dry transfers more, especially since I can have two trains with different numbers. Link to comment
GDorsett
If you have a fine brush or a good airbrush, try clear coat. Seems to be the go-to for a lot of "make it permanent" stuff. Link to comment
