Huh so that probably makes it about 2x3ft. $50 is a bit much but the container is neat, don't know if that makes it worth it. Then again I've wanted to have a print shop blow up a high quality map of this for a while and it would probably cost just as much...

And the print shop may not do it these days due to it being a published thing.

 

looks like the handkerchief was printed already! You can get those with three levels of detail and English or Japanese station names. I have a few street and rail map handkerchiefs from my first visit to japan over 30 years ago and love them. This one should be here next week with the wicked fast amazon Dhl shipping. Few other small train house dodads thrown in as well.

There are some very inexpensive bigger maps but they don’t ship outside japan so would need an agent to order.
