Hayashi
I know Kato 20-182L and 182R and used to transition to the superelevated 20-181. But, does it work okay to connect 182L to 182R to achieve a 45-deg curve or does it cause some other problem? Link to comment
Kiha66
It should work just fine, I've done the same thing before with no issues. 1 Link to comment

Kamome
I’ve found a few of my shinkansens with low skirts can sometimes ground on the track join a little as there is a slight peak when these pieces are joined. This may be due to the longer car length. My Kato E5 and E7 occasionally scrape the middle part of the car on this peak. Ive had no issue with other trains. Link to comment
