Damaged Sunrise Express nose door.

Anyone have any more info on what happened?  It seems to still be functional, but there was definitely an accident of some sort.

Its not recent. The video is dated December 29, 2017. It probably happened during coupling or uncoupling as that is when those doors are open. There were comments that there were no spare parts . This is also the New Year's rush. No time to cancel a train.

Sunrise Seto was involved in an "Human damage accident" at Kimi station on December 28th.

Operation of the doors was not affected so the damage wasn't fixed immediately.

Looking at the damage it certainly does look like the result of a jumper.

Yes I believe so too, since 人身事故 is often associated with suicide jumpers...
