Rail themed in Japan

I'm heading to Japan again soon and this time I'd like to visit some railway themed cafes, restaurants ...or bars!...and any other sites that you might think are worth a look and a photo or two.

I will be in Hiroshima (including a trip on the Yamaguchi), Fukuoka, Kyoto,Osaka, Nigata, Hakodate ,Sapporo and Asahikawa then a few days in Tokyo before heading home. I am interested in anything rail related and if I can get to it I will, camera in hand. So if you have any ideas or good photospots I'd like to know about them. This time I am hoping to travel on a 500 series and an E4max while they are still around, as well as the Hankai tramway, the Randen....with some luck maybe a cherry blossom or two and my first visit to the Enoden!.......Don't even get me started on the shops!
