This happens. For some time, the doors on Budapest buses had the following sign in english: 'Do not leave against the door!' which was actually meant to be 'Do not lean against the door!', but got mixed up somewhere.

 

The best so far was when a multilanguage sign was posted in hungarian, english, german and filippino. Actually that was ment to be french, but someone clicked the wrong language in google translate...
