bill937ca
The 3-car train "Kawata Electric Railway" produced by a third-year student at Saitama Prefectural Kawagoe Industrial High School (Kawagoe-shi) and running a real railway line. Looks like fun. Too bad I don't have a backyard. 22 November 2014 Shooting 22 The railroad exhibition made by industrial high school students was held at the railroad museum and the Saitama Prefectural Kawagoe Industrial High School Train Group (Kawato Electric Railway) was driven, railway made by high school students all over the catenary to the vehicle It is handmade. Seats in the car were using the products generated by the Seibu NRA renewal work on vehicles that were based on JR East's E231 and Seibu 6000 series motifs. 4 Link to comment
kvp
Interesting and a really good practice for tech school students. So far the biggest trains i've seen made by technical school students were the ride on size. This is a bit larger and they tried to copy all sorts of technologies, like the bolsterless bogies on the front car. Considering everything was built with hand tools by kids, this is a pretty good train. (less of a practical one, more of a technology demonstrator kind) More info here: https://twitter.com/KTHS_Train_2017 https://twitter.com/KTHS_Train_2017/status/523115366080196609 https://twitter.com/KTHS_Train_2017/status/523113753315790848 https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses/917388161306705934 2 Link to comment
