After 65+ years of railway modelling & 50+ years of modelling the railways of NSW, Australia in N scale I have decided that I would like to model a Japanese rural railway.

I have selected the Wakasa Railway in Tottori as a prototype & am currently working on a layout plan.  I currently have 13 SLs, a few diesel & electric locos & some passenger & goods rolling stock. 

I would be interested in making contact with any like minded modellers in the Sydney area.

Welcome to the forum Graeme!  The Wakasa Railway seems like a fun subject, DMUs plus you can run a steam excursion train!
