This is the Seikan Tunnel Line between Honshu and Hokkaido isles.

The train is Train Suite Shiki-Shima (E001 series) the new luxury train.

Cool view!  I may not be too fond of the exterior looks of the E001 myself, but the view from the front certainly makes up for a lot.  Hope the train will result in some more rare front view rides.  Thanks for sharing!
