Far from the Canadian UAC and the French RTG, this very fictiona lmodel train set was in production between the late 80s and the early 90s.

I have a vague memory of seeing these somewhere. Crossover of slotcar and model trains! Way to get model trains more exciting, loop de loop them and jump them! Sure it makes the purists on both sides vomit, but looks like a fun kid toy!

Would make for an interesting Galaxy Express 999 theme set, eh?

Plastic wheels on steel track, magnetic adhesion and brass wiper pickups. And due to the low hanging gearing you can't have turnouts. It's a cool toy but could get boring quickly as you can only go around and around. (this is true for all starter loops, but most model railway systems are extendable while this is not so much)
