Shinkansenrailfan
Hi, just curious but what are some of the longest runtimes for trips? I know that for Tokyo, the Atami-Kuroiso Trip is the longest, but are there any services in the opposite direction? (Towards Atami/Numazu) Link to comment
Sacto1985
I'd say the following: For Shinkansen, the longest is the majority of Nozomi runs, which take about 5 hours to complete one-way from Tokyo to Hakata. For zairaisen runs, in terms of time elapsed (minus the Sunrise Seto/Izumo overnight train), I'd include the Super Oki from Shin-Yamaguchi to Tottori (I believe around 5.5 hours) and the regular train between Toyohashi and Kami-Suwa on mostly the JR Central Iida Line, which can take around 7 hours. 1 Link to comment
