But would be nice on long stretches like to Hong Kong or something. Anyway here is a video about the train I found on YouTube. Apparently it started service a few days ago. JR 500系 Posted July 6, 2017 Share Posted July 6, 2017 interesting... Apparently the slowest leg on the Shanghai/ Beijing leg is around 6 hours, and the fastest 4.5 hours... I don't think it's that long a trip... Although these trains can be placed on other longer routes like Shanghai to Harbin or something that takes like 8-10 hours... Link to comment
