LOXX Berlin for sale

The world's third largest model train layout "LOXX" is up for sale on eBay.

 

LOXX is a 800m² HO layout replicating parts of the Berlin Stadtbahn and famous landmarks. The exhibition has to close this year due to cancellation of their rental contract.

The whole layout is being put on sale on eBay and open for bids or for a 749,000 EUR buyout price.

 

The layout contains:

 

approx.:

·  800 sqm

·  4 km of track

·  200 express and regional train in a concerted use

·  Nearly 1.000 buildings

·  10.000 vehicles

·  50.000 figures

·  45.000 trees/bushes

·   a workshop- and service equipment

·   a test track

·   an reserve of rolling material

·   Wall showcases with more than 9000 miniature vehicles

·   Showcases with contents of other collection areas and related to railway

·   Complementary small self-sufficient model plants to special topics.

Ouch, that's a bummer to loose the lease on the space like that with something built in.

Too bad it closed! I guess the competition with Miniatur Wunderland was too tough. Glad I could see it before it closed though!
