While not japanese I expect there is some similar prototype in japan most likely. Ready to print out panels and expand as needed to what ever you want to make.

That building looks structurally just like some of the station buildings on the hungarian lake Balaton north shore line built in the 1960-ies...

Yes I've seen single story schools and other odd buildings here like that from the 60s. Do wonder about earthquake requirements though with the modular design, but I guess with good foundation and wall and column locking mech it should be sturdy.
