Question about location in Germany- DB

Can anyone tell me the general location or region where this scene was recorded? I'm curious about the rolling stock on the far side track, the *high floor* single level s-bahn stock being used in push pull formation with an electric locomotive. Never seen that kind of setup.

A slightly more precise guess puts this at the small station of Katzwang on the Nuremberg S2.

I believe X-Wagen formations are nowadays mainly used for rush hours trains. I was able to find back this photo from 2010 when I saw an X-Wagen formation of the S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr at Köln Hbf:

Absolutely correct.

The loco is 143 905-8 which is stationed in Nuremberg.
