SONIC883_de
Hi, after alpineaustrila shows his Greenmax Loco Shed, I looked to my clean Tomix one... I must put some dirt on it! Yesterday a friend and me want to paint some Warhammer miniatures, but I decide to weather my loco shed This is the result The steps I have done (all colors Games Workshop): - Use Badab Black (ink) to add black on all sides and roof - drybushing with Bleached Bone on all sides and roof - Add rust below the bigger windows without frame with Scorched Brown - Use Griffon Sephia (ink) to make the rust 'softer' - Mithirl Silver for raintubes(?) - Scarab Red for window Frames Overall (incl. dry time) 2 hours Link to comment
CaptOblivious
Kia, looks good! I'm a big fan of the Citadel Acrylics, so for the others, I've translated the colors to more familiar terms The steps I have done (all colors Games Workshop): - Use thinned black as a wash (india ink works too) to add black on all sides and roof - drybushing with cream on all sides and roof - Add rust below the bigger windows without frame with rust brown - Used a wash of thinned rust brown to make the rust 'softer' - chrome/bright steel metallic flake for raintubes(?) - purplish-maroon for window Frames Link to comment
alpineaustralia
Sonic Please take it as a compliment when I say your train shed looks old, rusty, dirty and neglected. Excellent job ! Link to comment
SONIC883_de
Thank you! On the roof I have done a little mistake while drybrushing - a spot has get to much white paint. But overall, I think it is a nice eyecatcher for my trainyard Link to comment
