Final OT (?) : Hokuriku Shinkansen Snapping at Karuizawa

Just wanted to know if there is anywhere around Karuizawa Station where I can snap E/W7 Trains?

Probably the down side end (direction of Nagano) of the platform at Karuizawa Station (tracks 3 and 4) is the best place to photograph up (Tokyo direction) trains. Dunno the sun angles during the day though.
