yakumo381
Do any of the JNR SO80 rail mounted cranes, as captured in the Tomix versions 2771 or 2772, still actually exist in prototype form? http://ziyuukan.jugem.jp/?day=20170517 Have seen historical pictures like this: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10009569 ...but never seen anything more up to date either on the intraweb or when visiting Japan. I am planning this year's Japan trip and would be interested in getting to see one as it were in the metal... Edited May 19, 2017 by cteno4 Link to comment
marknewton
There's at least two preserved. One was at the former Sakuma Rail Park, but I don't know what happened to it after that location closed down and the exhibits went to Nagasaki. From memory the other is preserved in Hokkaido. Cheers, Mark. Link to comment
