Sankō Line

[Kitayama]

Sankō Line, 108,3 km, between Miyoshi, Hiroshima and Gōtsu, Shimane will be closed on March 31, 2018. 

I took a ride from Miyoshi to Gōtsu on April 4, 2017. Already one year before the closure, there were a lot of people, especially senior people,

riding the line for a last farewell. Many of them from other part of Japan.  

 

I didn't manage to get a seat, so I had to stand for 3½ hours.
