pointy tweezers

a good fine, pointy tweezer is a must for working with small parts. unfortunately really fine tweezers can get pricy and with even a small drop or sloshing around in a drawer or box w/o a guard over the tips can easily ruin them. I have a lot of pairs of pointy tweezers and some really expensive ones from grad school for tissue dissection that i rarely use as so fragile and expensive.

 

recently found that these acne tweezers on ebay are actually quite good. most are very sharp tips and good mating. those with any deformities can easily be filed or bent a tad to fix. at a buck or less each they are great to populate your toolbox and work area (tweezers like pencils, tape measures, matte knives and xacto knives all come with their own nano blackholes that suck them up once deployed in your shop).

 

easy on the pocket book and if you drop them and bung up the tip no biggie... this lttle set of three for $2.25 is handy shaped tips for various tasks.

you can also find them individually for around a buck or so. search "acne tool". some of these sellers dont post to all countries so look around and you may find one that goes to your country. but i know even a $2 package can trip duties and fees out sizing the cost of the item in some countries.

 

nice low budget addition to your tool box.
