Vinyl Cobblestone Pavement

In the new issue of NG&SL Gazette I saw an announcement for this new product from Chooch Enterprises. It looks like it could be quite useful for tram lines laid in paving stones (Hiroshima, et al.), as it is easy to work with and could potentially be curved.

There's also a short video on working with it. The pace is quite fast - so much so that you don't always have time to read the text on the screen. I mentioned this to them, and they claim that they'll work with it to slow things down.

A less expensive option for large areas is to use an air-drying clay material. This can be carved by hand after it has set-up some, or you can use short pieces of rectangular plastic or metal as stamps to create the stone borders - join multiple ones together to save time. You can generally pre-color these materials, and then add other colors and/or a wash later.
