Sascha
Can someone name the green/orange one? 1 Link to comment
Sacto1985
That orange and light-green trainset was part of the old tram system that ran from Tobu Nikko Station west up into the hills and past several tourist destinations in the Nikko area. Alas, that tram system was dismantled many years ago and in many ways, people regret that because bus traffic west of Nikko Station can be really bad at times, especially during Japanese holiday periods. 2 Link to comment
Densha
Ahh have you been into the Tobu Museum? These are placed basically just outside of the museum, probably for promotional purposes. 1 Link to comment
Kiha66
Really like that limited express, been tempted to get a model but the one's I've seen on yahoo auctions seem to be rather pricey! Edited April 2, 2017 by Kiha66 1 Link to comment
Sascha
Yep. Been to the Museum in 2015. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
The Tobu Museum is one of the best small/medium size railway museums in the country, well worth the trip to that part of Tokyo, especially when combined with a visit to the Tobu Asakusa terminal/Sky Tree/Tobu Isezaki Line (aka "Sky Tree Line"). I've been there 3 or 4 times. Make sure to see the simultaneous departures on the up platform at Hikifune, one stop from Higashi Mukojima. 2 Link to comment
