maihama eki
I am considering buying a Silhouette Cameo cutter to cut card stock for scratch building structures - similar to Sankei kits for example. I see a couple of people on here mention buying one for similar use. Do you have any comments on it? Do you have any examples that you could share pictures of? I have some concerns about the machine for this use: - Can it cut very fine features? - I am a little worried about having to afix the material to the adhesive carrier sheet and then peeling off the pieces. Any comments from Silhouette users? Link to comment
ToniBabelony
It depends on the material you're cutting (I used pretty heavy high quality 0.25mm or so paper), but you can do 0.5mm cuts quite well if you have your settings right (cut from the inside-out, rather than outside-in as is the default): 3 Link to comment
maihama eki
Thank you, Toni. Those look very nice. The curved cuts are nice to see. Link to comment
