velotrain
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%9B%BD%E9%89%84%E3%82%BD300%E5%BD%A2%E8%B2%A8%E8%BB%8A I tried my usual technique of pasting the URL into the Google search window, so I could select Translate, but I was taken to a different web page. I next tried Chrome, and it said it couldn't translate. I can't decide if it's carrying the engine, or that's what propels it. Link to comment
Wonderbolt
I would guess thats what propels it and its some kind of Earthmover? It does list a speed of 75 KPH (and a speed of 25 kphin the wiki entry so that may be its max speed. Just a guess but imagine it can propel its self to do its designed task, but a loco would haul it to and from its work destination. EDIT put it in translate, looks like its used for building Bridges (from what I can gather its a mobile crane), says it can propel its self but only at 25kph Edited January 27, 2017 by Wonderbolt Link to comment
katoftw
For making girder bridges. It overhangs a section and allows the next section to be dropped in place. These pics are from the Usui Heritage Park. Link to comment

velotrain
Thanks Pomu - I didn't realize it was time lapse at first, and was shocked at the speed the unit was approaching the end of the built bridge ;-) Link to comment
Socimi
I next tried Chrome, and it said it couldn't translate. For me, it works. Here is the translated version: Link to comment
