Trekkies

Ok, I got to have fun today. I had to do a trip to California to work on my parents house and attend a memorial for a great prof from grad school at Berkeley, so I deserved on fun day. Luckily there was a Star Trek convention in San Francisco today so went with a couple of old friends here in the Bay Area. I haven't gotten one for like 15 years! While I'm not a costume wearing Trekkie, I've probably watched them more than the average Trekkie in the last 50 years!

 

Got to see William shatter and Walter koneg talk and a number of others at the autograph tables. Was a fun time to geek out a bit.

No Japanese trains like the Star Wars train?  I guess Japan hasn't had a Trekkie train.
