New Hankai Tramway Tennoji Ekimae Terminal

The cramped single track Hankai Tramway terminal in the center of a busy boulevard has been replaced with a new terminal and line beside the old terminal.

Looks good, that grass (it's real isn't it?) is a nice touch.  I thought they might make the station itself double track.  No room, or unneeded as they've got that reverse maneuver down to an art?

Single track is probably OK, but at least the space is wider than the tram!

That last picture looks a lot like the new Tomix Wide Tram grass straight pieces!  -- Rich K.

A double track terminus with a scissors crossover on the approach would have been more versatile but I'm assuming the street isn't wide enough for two tracks plus a pltform on each side.

My (unqualified and not authoritative) impression is that the terminus stations on these kind of tramlines in Japan usually follow that single track pattern; the Toei Waseda line and Tokyu Setagaya lines do, if memory serves correctly. Also reduces the number of points from 4 to 1.
