Hi everyone,

As mentioned elsewhere in another post, I have been updating the Tomix /EasyTrolley Modelers' website, an info source in English on Tomix and Tomytec products. (http://www.trainweb.org/tomix/)

On the trolley/tram side of that site, I have updated and greatly improved the listing of all Tomytec Railway Collection power chassis, including photos of the basic design types and added dimensions such as bodyshell interior height needed and wheel diameter. All dimensions are also translated into scale feet and inches for three "N scales" (1:160, 1:150 and 1:148) for those who are the metrically challenged.

I have also started a whole new section that covers past N-gauge trolley and tram products. This began several years ago with permission from Garth Hamilton of Canada to resurrect his old website info after he closed his site down. His early directories of Tomix, Tomytec, Modemo, Kato and Greenmax trolley or electric interurban products now live again, current up to when he stopped working on them in 2008. To these I have added sections on the former N trolley products of Father Nature Trees, Miniatures by Eric, and Western Railcraft. Others are in the works. They make up a great reference work that I have not seen anywhere else. I did not want this information to just fade away.

If you have Tomytec power chassis for which I do not have all of the dimensions, and if you also have the ability and interest to measure them for me, send along the millimeter data and I will add it to the list. You can also send me a personal email here with any corrections or other additions. Thanks!

Thank you for your dedication and research! I'll show this to my Japanese friends later as well, as I don't recall this kind of knowledge having been compiled this way on the Japanese language internet. :)

P.s. this has been very useful for myself in many ways as well.

U DA MAN Rich!

I wondered what happened to the other site that had the older greenmax dimensions, it was Garth's!

thanks again for doing this for everyone!

Cheers,

Great job!

Valuable information compiled together is great, especially good for new starters as the Tomytec chassis can get complicating as to which one to use for which model~

Nice informative site that will greatly help new starters in the hobby, and even provide further information for those that have been modelling!
