Modemo have announced that their NT100 model will be of the Tokyu articulated tram

Fenway - That is one of the best looking trams I've seen. Is it out for resale yet or did they announce a pre-order date?

No dates as yet keep an eye out on Hobby Search or if in Europe Japan Model Railways.

December 2009 11,340 yen anticipated date etc.

 

Introduced in 1955 as DEHA 200 and used on the Tokyu Tamagawa line. Nicknamed Caterpillar . Withdrawn in 1969 on closure of the line.

 

Lightweight body shell weighing 22T.  (Info from Modemo) 204 is preserved.

 

Now how can I get away with one running on Kyushu?

Those wheels/bogies are off-putting... I do hope they cover over the sides.

HW now has this for pre order for 7992yen, 26% off list! was just about to put in a pre-order on this with rainbow ten, then checked HW and bingo. always need to check HW for preorders as some are very good discounts (galaxy express 999 was 30% off list preorder!). only problem is it can be hard to find items (especially pre orders) with HW's screwie site
