tossedman
I just got this saw from Hobby Search. I'm loving it. It's so sharp and thin. Makes great cuts. Cheers eh, Todd 3 Link to comment
cteno4
Japanese pull saws are the best! I have a friend that does very fine woodworking and he has a dozen different ones that are exquisite! He has done several Japanese fine woodworking workshops and half the class was caring for the tools properly (good to do as they are not cheap!) Cheers Jeff Link to comment
tossedman
They're even better when the blade is a tenth of a millimetre wide. Link to comment
cteno4
yikes that is thin! i was amazed how thin some of his big saws are! they look like they would bow, but thats part of doing the pull instead of the push stroke. also they cut so flat and clean they rarely bind. its a bit of zen to do the strokes cleanly, but when done its amazing the large cuts come out so square and clean. jeff Link to comment
