Kato E4 max couplers-the ones holding the cars together

Hello everyone,

 

Well my poor Kato E4 Max got dropped and now i have several of the couplers that hold the cars together have broken. I've looked in the usual places but no one seems to stock them. Does anyone have an idea where i can get spares or a replament coupler that isn't so fragile?

Have you checked wit Nariichi san from http://www.modeltrainplus.net/ ? He is pretty good at getting things.

The part you need is Z04-4291. Kato sells them in a pack of 10 but assy parts seem difficult to source outside of Japan.

 

My Kato 100, 500, 700 and E2s have the same coupling so I assume fit identically if you can't find a specific E4 part.
