marknewton
Another good candidate for a simple shelf layout, Hokoku has a small village on the same side of the river as the railway, all clinging to a narrow ledge between the mountain and the river. It has a siding that nowadays is used to stable track maintenance equipment, but I wouldn't mind betting that it once had a goods shed. Have a look at street view in this link: http://www.earth-3d.com/?eid=7561873_JP_SRSTN_31&title=Hokoku-eki-Japan https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wMwhoZfhkyU https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=knSzH3GthHU https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fW_acD1tw6k Cheers, Mark. 4 Link to comment
kvp
Great idea! The placement of the station building relative to the platform makes it unique and it could even be made into a larger layout by pairing it with the more famous Nunohara station. 1 Link to comment
