Must be faster than riding five stops to Kishinosato-Tamade, then another four stops back to Sakai. Link to comment

Off peak observation, but I have only seen a few people getting off at the Kishinosato Tamade station Koya Line platforms the several times I have used it, and I don't know if they were transfering to the Main Line or just local residents at their journey end. http://www.nankaibus.jp/info/20160225.html I reckon those preferring an all-rail journey would just go on to Tengachaya, where there is a cross-platform transfer to Nankai Main Line trains.
