mattdwnunder
I have managed to purchase a World Craft partly assembled C55 which is incomplete but which appears to have the major parts of the loco body and tender shell and possibly the tender bogies. I am guessing from the enclosed cab that the original kit was a Hokkaido version and I note that World Craft tends to make their kits to represent a specific locomotive number. Can someone please advise which loco number from the photos I have included that this incomplete kit is supposed to represent? Link to comment
marknewton
Matt, your model represents one of the 21 C55s that were streamlined. They have an enclosed cab, with a higher roof that has a more pronounced curve than the standard C55 cabs, and a flat front. So it could carry any number between C55 20 and C55 40. Cheers, Mark. 1 Link to comment
