Staffy
Hi, grateful for any help. Green light is on kato controller and turnout switches working. Train isn't moving though. No lights, nothing. The loco and track are new. The controller is old, as is the maplin switched mode power supply powering it. Have tried all voltages. I wonder if it's the feeder track, but kato feeder track is bomb proof isn't it? I have taken the back off a couple of times to check it looks ok. could I have unseated something in there? Don't have anything else to test with. Help! Link to comment
Staffy
I miraculously found an old feeder track. It's working now. Only once I'd packed everything away though. Tomorrow we ride at dawn! Link to comment
inobu
Kato Controller comes with a Black AC adapter. That adapter has an output of 15V AC that plugs into the Power pack. You say that you have a Maplin Switch mode power supply. What is it set to? Inobu 1 Link to comment

I've had it at 12v as that's what the back of the controller says. Is that right? Link to comment
