Plarail Zenmen Tenbou Video for Tablet Viewing

Takara Tomy is planning to release Plarail trains this autumn with a built-in front camera view able on a tablet.  Speeds will also be controllable on smart phones or tablets.

I've bought two cheap wifi cameras and both could only get about 12fps with like 480 resolution...

It will probably be bright colors as a child's toy.  Isn't this getting a bit complicated? What happens when the kids get bored?

Interesting... We could get this and try to transplant it into N scale, since it seems to be fitted on a Plarail Advance kit and is about the same size as a N scale...

The Track is a standard sized Plarail track. A Plarail Advance set uses only one side which we see here, so I derived this as a Plarail Advance set...

I think that's double rail plarail track there, there are two guide ways under the train, advance rides in a single guideway.

This is why I was wondering the size of the camera guts to perhaps transplant! But regular plarail is over 2x the cross section of n scale cars...

Guess it's Plarail then, since it uses both sides of the track ~  :)
