Nick_Burman
Ferrovia Udine - Cividale, Italy. Incidentally one of the best run and most successful of the country's local railways. "Cjape" is Friulan, the equivalent in Italian is "achiappare", meaning to grab or to take. Edit: thanks Davide for the correction. My Italian really needs sprucing up... Cheers NB Edited June 11, 2016 by Nick_Burman 3 Link to comment
Socimi
Funny sign! "Cjape" is Friulan, the equivalent in Italian is "chiappe" which is the present tense of the verb "chiappare" meaning to grab or to take. The equivalent in italian is "Acchiappare" wich means "to catch", but it's slang. The colloquial correct form is "Prendere". "Chiappe" means butt :) Link to comment
