miyakoji
Add Wakayama Electric Railway to the list of operators who've gotten the Mitooka treatment. Video at Kamayama Station: http://railf.jp/news/2016/05/27/150000.html Their fourth theme train after the Tama (Tama the cat), the Omocha (toy), and Ichigo (strawberry) trains, it's called the Umeboshi Train. It's a play on words, replacing 干 meaning dry with 星 meaning star, although both would be read boshi in this situation. Revenue operation will begin on June 4. Edit: as kvp points out below, the previous three sets are also Mitooka designs Edited May 28, 2016 by miyakoji 2 Link to comment

I guess I've come to expect his trains to be that burgundy color, or sometimes dark blue. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eiji_Mitooka https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%B0%B4%E6%88%B8%E5%B2%A1%E9%8B%AD%E6%B2%BB Link to comment
