FastFranz
Ciao, I lived in Brazil (or better yet I shuttled, back and forth, between Italy and Brazil) for about a year. That immense country remained in my heart. I decided thus - almost ten years after my return - that time had come to realize, eventually, a "Brazilian Train” reminding me of those days. Train model used are from Kato, 1: 160, N-Gauge: https://youtu.be/4zDb6MUeEKw Francesco I HAVE DESPERATELY TRYIED - FOR OVER ONE HOUR - TO EMBED MY VIDEOCLIP INSTEAD OF POSTING A LINK, NO WAY!!! ... ... ... WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!?! :( :( :(. Edited May 16, 2016 by FastFranz 3 Link to comment
miyakoji
I think the embedding didn't work because you pasted a link from the YouTube app (youtu.be) rather than the regular link in this format Nice layout and appropriate music :) 1 Link to comment
FastFranz
Ciao, May be but I just had a copy/past of code - supplied by You Tube - to embed. Time ago - on this Forum - it worked perfectly, this time ... NO WAY!!! THX for You hepl, in the end. ;) Francesco Link to comment
cteno4
Yeah the forum software does not recognize embeds with YouTube links with either YouTube.be or the .mobile in there. You have to use the YouTube.com links. Cheers Jeff Link to comment
miyakoji
supplied by You Tube - to embed Ah, I see. I thought it was from the phone/tablet app, I never used (noticed?) the "share" link that YT provides. Link to comment
cteno4
Yeah the share field on a youtube page uses the shorter https://youtu.be/video##. what works is the full https://youtube.com/watch?v=video## which is just the cut an paste of the actual page url from the browser when on the youtube page. dont use the share url field on the page or you get the short one that wont embed. i think if you copy the page url out of a mobile browser you usually get something like https://mobile.youtube.com/watch?v=video## where you just have to delete out the mobile. to get back to the regular page url that embeds. As far as i know the Youtube embed code you get from the youtube page wont work in posts even when inserted as code. so the simplest is to cut and paste the url from the browser. then if on a mobile device delete out the "mobile." cheers jeff Link to comment
