Sacto1985
A YouTube member posted this excellent zenmen tenbou video of a trip on the Kashima Rinkai Railway's Ōarai Kashima Line from the JR East Mito Station to the JR East Kashimajingū Station: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpFDCRrIpFw This video is taken from a Kashima Rinkai Railway 6000 Series DMU. Note the unusually modern infrastructure of the railway, especially the long viaduct between Mito and Ōarai Stations. 4 Link to comment
miyakoji
It's a pretty good view despite the car's windshield arrangement. Sometimes a pillar right in the middle of the screen ruins everything :) Link to comment
Sacto1985
Given that the 6000 Series DMU on this line were designed to operated in multiple units on an as-needed basis, especially during the J.League D1 soccer season, small wonder why the DMU was built this way. Staffy
As someone who's never been fortunate enough to get to Japan, there is something intangibly fascinating about videos like this. Thanks. Link to comment
