yakumo381
Been thinking of adding a simple one sided single platform station on the far side of my Niihama layout - you've just give me inspiration for the station building. :) 1 Link to comment

Das Steinkopf
Seiyuushin-Iwakuni has a guards cabin for a waiting room from a Kokifu 1000. You can see Shin-Iwakuni in the background. That would have to be one of the most unromantic looking local stations that interchanges with Shinkansen services, mind you I kind of dig the recycling of the guards compartment as a small waiting room. Kitayama
Mr Tomy was reading our forum? That is the same color pattern as Bettoga station between Nemuro and Kushiro. Several of the stations on that line have that type of waiting room. I travelled the line today. Saw Shika deers close to the track 10 times - the driver used the whistle a lot... Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
When I lived in Nemuro I took the Hanasaki Line two or three times a week. Deer blocking the tracks were a consistent problem, often resulting in sudden slowing down/braking on nighttime runs, it seemed like engine braking on the kiha 54 was used, rather than the air brakes in many instances. cteno4
Mr Tomy was reading our forum? I have long believed this! Long history of fiddling with something unique and talk about it here and it's Tomyteced! Cheers, Jeff 1 Link to comment
