bill937ca
It seems this is the most probable prototype for Kato Unitram's intersections. It's Harimayabashi on the Tosa Electric Railway in Kochi. EDIT: There is also one key junction in Nagasaki that has been done over in this manner. That is Nishihamanomachi. Edited May 5, 2016 by bill937ca 3 Link to comment
bill937ca
The Tomix 3076 track covers match the removable paving blocks used by the Nagasaki Electric Tramway in the vicinity of the Nagasaki JR station. 2 Link to comment
katoftw
The paving blocks are fairly common across many tramways in Japan. Kumamoto, Nagasaki and Kagoshima all have very similar tramways. Edited May 5, 2016 by katoftw Link to comment
bill937ca
Both types of construction show up at the Nagasaki JR station. :) 1 Link to comment
velotrain
I doubt Kato needed a prototype - they designed a 2-track system, so the double diverging tracks seem a foregone conclusion. Link to comment
